Cheaper by the dozen

I just read this AMAZING story at this blog : http://thevoiceofadventure.blospot.com

This woman is hosting a virtual baby shower for her friends. The family she is throwing the baby shower has 4 biological children, 3 adopted children and was just selected to be the adoptive parents of a sibling group of 5 kids!!! That's right, 5. The ages, 5, 4, 3, 2 and 1 year old! They will now have a total of 12 children. This means, 5 more beds, 5 more car seats, 5 more sets of clothing, etc. etc. etc. So, if you have it impressed on your heart, go to the above blog, and use the pay pal account to donate some $$ to this amazing family who is following Gods call to help more children! If you can help financially, PRAY! The will need provision, patience, strength and more as they adjust to being a family of 9, to a family of 14!

Zackery's big boy hair cut!

My nephew was born with a head full of dark brown (almost black ) hair. My sister was the same way wen she was born so it was no surprise (although his GIANT blue eyes that never changed were!). To date, he has had 3 trims. After being told he was very pretty, and him being called a princess (more then once) My sister relented and told my Mom she could get it done. This is what it looked like just a week ago:
And here is the little Monkey himself as of yesterday afternoon! I went with my Mom and we got it cut!
Doesn't he look SO grown up! Oh my goodness! How did that happen. I swear he was just a wee little 6pd baby making little monkey noises in his sleep YESTERDAY!

He is also making a lot of progress developmentally. He army crawls, gets on his hands and knees and rocks back and forth, pulls up to things, and he knows how to get what he wants, he gruns "Ah". If he wants your attention he says Ah, he want something you have he grunts "Ah", and if you give him a taste of your food/drink and he wants more, he says "Ah".
He loves music and dancing. He shakes his little head in a "no" fashion, or bounces his torso up and down, it's too cute! He also enjoys playing "Peek - A - Boo". The other day my Dad was hiding behind different things and popping back out. Later that day my nephew was in his car seat and my Dad walked up to the van. My nephew turned his head to the side for a second and quickly turned it back! He was trying to get my Dad to play the game with him! When my Dad started playing again, Zack started Laughing! I also not him how to "deflate" my cheeks when I puff them up like a monkey. He finds this hilarious. I love this little boy so much!

Pictures of Joshua Blair!

Here is my LONG awaited new cousin, Joshua Blair. My Mom and I decided while he is VERY adorable, he also has a bit of an E.T. look. He actually has a LOT of strawberry blond hair. Not anywhere near what my nephew had but, for a blonde it's quite a bit. He did not cry at all when he was born. He took his first breath just fine but, no wails. Although, his expressions speaks for itself that he was NOT amused! Joshua was very hard to wake up for feedings. I teases my aunt because the kid never seemed to sleep in her tummy but, once he was out he slept like a rock, that is a typical Williams boy, teasing from the beginning. I don't know why the birht announcement won't get bigger. He was 7pds 9 ounces, 19 3/4 inches. My Aunt had an epidural and recommends in to anyone.

Play Ball!

Fall Sport are in full swing. I always try to make one game for Kenzie and one for Josh. Usually they are both playing Soccer. This year it is soccer for Kenz. and Football for Joshua. I've never been a fan of football but, now that someone I love is playing, maybe I will learn to enjoy it. I think I really could enjoy it if I knew exactly what I was looking for. I was a swimmer and a soccer player so, I know exactly what to look for when it comes to watching Kenzie play. I think they are both doing very well! Kenzie has improved A LOT since I saw her last fall. Josh does really well (from what I can tell) for his first year in football. He loves it. Taking pictures of football was much harder than soccer. The field is bigger and the players are always on top of one another. Maybe I will make another game and get some better pictures. We will see. Kenzie still plays on a short field, and with only 3 players and a goal per team. Super easy to get good shots. Joshua is number 40. Kenzie is blonde with a blue uniform. The pictures actually look way better on my computer but, whatever, they are cute anyway.

fff # 18: Silly Smiles!

The "kissy/fishy face" smile. This would be Levi being a silly goose in a tree. He was so excited I put him in it. He loves to blow kisses now and was trying to blow a kiss but also trying NOT to smile.
The "Tongue out" smile. For MONTHS Zackery (my nephew) would only smile with his tongue sticking out!
The "SMURF" smile. Caleb managed to open a door (with a "baby proof" lock on it), when I was living with him. He loves to get stamps on his hands. I had taken him in my closet to give him one after going pee on the potty. The next day he did some breaking and entering. He found my blue ink pad (all of this while I was taking a pee) and I found him like this. He thought it was hilarious.
The " This is so EMBARRASSING" smile. My best friends twin sisters at her bridal shower. This was a fun game, we made wedding dresses out of toilet paper and a few other things.

The "IF YOU ONLY KNEW WHAT I WAS THINKING" smile. Alex can't talk but, he can certainly laugh and smile. They ( his brother, and him nodding) begged me to play in the sand box. I HATE sand boxes. But, I obliged. I pretended to "whine" about how gross it was, how it was getting under my nails, and had both the boys roaring with laughter about how "girly" I was being. I grabbed my camera because it's hard to get an authentic smile out of Alex on picture. I took a couple really good shots. Then I asked him what he thought of playing in the sand with me, he gave me this silly, coy, eye rolling smile.

He's HERE!!!

*UPDATE: He was 7 pounds 9 ounces, and he is very alert but also quiet. My nephew was very alert as well but, he was really noisy, always grunting and cooing from day one!

Joshua Blair Williams made his grand entrance into the world today!!! Don't know a lot of details yet but I did get a picture texted. He is SOOOOOO.... cute! He looks a LOT like my Uncle, he has this expression in the picture that is SO my Uncles, and he has a cute big (NOT button) nose! Oh, I love him, and can't wait to share him!!
