On my way home from an evening service. I love sunsets/rises. And it's moments like this that make me love where I live.

Here are some pictures of my car which my brother totaled. We are so glad he is ok and things weren't worse, which they very easily could have been. He had been working two jobs, one the 6pm-2am shift, and another the 4 am to 8:30 am shift. He decided not to come home an sleep one morning and the next morning on his way home, he feel asleep behind the wheel. He went through MANY pushed, and stopped at a small tree but, he missed three small trees head on.

The front all crunched up. You can't see it but the windshield is all shattered yet intact.

The back left passenger seat was torn off of it's hinges.

The right hand side view mirror was dangling.

and the left hand mirror was torn of completely

Right Rear tire completely flat and the axle was bent pretty bad.
It feels like I'm having a lot of those "beginning of the end" situations.
Update on my Aunt: She is doing better but very sick. They found out she is not in kidney failure. The bleeding stopped although they don't know where she was bleeding. Her blood sugar has stabilized (it had dropped to 40!). This all within hours of my post! Thank you SO much for all your prayers. However the fact is my Aunt is in congenital heart failure. She has been sick and on oxygen for a long time. She is a Christian and she says she is ready to go home. She just isn't ready to leave her daughter who so recently lost a significant other.
For my Aunt, this is the beginning of the end, at least for her life hear on earth. After Grandpa passed the day after my birthday last month, I was at incredibly peace. He had struggled for so long it was a pleasure to know he was restored and resting with Jesus. I'm really having a hard time with the idea of losing my precious Aunt Mary though. She is the only person on my Moms side of the family to completely accept my Dad and to Love him.
We have always had a special connection her and I. Of all of her family up here, she just took a special interest in me and I in her. I use to love climbing in her lap and snuggling up for a nap. My Aunt has always been very heavy and I loved her "pillows". One day she asked if I wanted big boobs like her when I grew up. I said YES! ( I was only 3). I was a super picky eater and it drove her nuts. She said I had to eat LOTS of mashed potatoes and gravy, a food I hated. From that day on potatoes were one of my favorite foods. And yes, I have big boobs. In fact both my sisters are barely A cups and my MOm is a B cup after 4 kids. Me....lets just say I'm a very full D pre kids!
When I went to visit her in Feb. I didn't get any pictures of her and I. My camera was having battery issues and I ended up doing a lot more theme park visiting than I had planned. I spent a lot of quality time with my Mom and Cousins but I really wish now I'd spent more time with my Aunt. She made a comment about never getting to meet my sisters son. I told her that when I had the daughter God has promised me (or any child for that matter), I would bring that baby to see her. She said "yah right, we will see". Now, before she is even gone, I'm grieving that I won't be able to do that. Especially since I have alway wanted to give one of my daughter her middle name: Ruth. Now, I hope to get to see her alive one more time myself and get a picture with her.
Other beginning of the ends:
I just finished another school term. I took classes all summer and the term ended Saturday. I got behind the week of my birthday since it was a 3 day stretch of crazy (b-day, grandpa died next day, and dad has surgery next day), and I've had a hard time catching up. So Sat. I wrote a total of 8 papers. I got up at 7 am and worked until 3 pm when my good friend came to help me ogranized my bedroom and get rid of stuff. I need someone to say "don't keep it, just take a picture". She left at 6:30. I went and swam 2,000 yards (I skipped my run that day, lol), and I went back to writing papers until midnight. So, with two weeks off until the new term starts, I'm beginning my summer right at the end of the season. Oh well. Some summer are just like that.
The start of the new term will be the "beginning of the end" of my pursuit of a bachelors. I'm schedule to graduate at the end of next August. However, I plan to add extra classes straight through and graduate earlier.
Finally, I really feel like this last month has been the beginning of the end of my struggle with weight and laziness. Of course I'm still prone to "relapse" and all but, I've been pretty diligent with getting myself going. The running plan was a 30 day straight plan. I ran for 21 days straight and took 3 days off after that. The 1st day off was because my calf muscles had been hurting pretty bad for several days, getting worse with each run. I decided i needed a day off. The 2nd day was because I just did homework and worked all day. I didn't have time. And the 3rd day was my 2,000 yard swim (or an hour of swimming, or 80 laps, or over a swimmers mile). I felt justified skipping my run. I also bought a bike this week. Since my brother totaled my car last month, I decided I'd wait to get another. I'm planning to use the $$ left after my loan is paid off to pay off a credit card I got to get a lap top for school, and then save for a down payment. I don't mind walking but it's sometimes TOO hot, and it gets pretty cold and wet here in winter so, I thought a bike would be nice. I cool breeze in my face when it's hot, and the faster pace for colder days. And I can take it too the stores, or my grandmas, or where-ever. I've been taking my dogs around the block while I'm on the bike. They enjoy getting to run next to me. So yah,.....
The beginning of the end.
I'm not sure what other seasons are ending in my life right now.... but there are a few I hope God has planned to end in the not so distant future :)
